Lauren is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College (Bachelor’s / Acting & Musical Theatre). Working with great teachers and directors like Paul Gemignani, Charles Strouse, and Daren Cohen, as well as on Bright Lights, Big City with Jason Gotay and Emmy Raver-Lampman.
Most recently, Lauren brought Michelle McNamara to life based on her book, I'll Be Gone in the Dark on HBO and had a supporting role in the movie Camp Joy, working with Vivian A. Fox, Sean Ringgold, and Eric Roberts, a series regular in a new series called A 1000 Miles.
Lauren previously starred as an action hero in a short film called Inbetween, had two co-star roles for Investigation Discovery’s Dead of Winter and Evil Lives Here, and starred in the Austin Film Festival Dark Comedy Award winning short film Doom Chat.
Lauren Ashley Orlando is university trained and an accomplished actor and singer with a wide variety of professional experience across fan-favorite, scene stealing characters in Television, Commercials, Off-Broadway Theatre, and community work.

Lauren holds a second-degree black belt in classical Okinawan Karate from GONOSEN Karate in New York. She also has a passion for boxing in addition to being trained in nunchuck, kama, and bo staff.

Lauren has written a feature length film, Ms. Julie. A story full of laughs, passion and some heartbreak that takes you out of your own head and through an unconventional affair. Lauren is currently working on a new piece called Country Men, depicting a modern day world where rights look painfully different.
